Facts This Classic Rail Bus represents a popular type of passenger trans- portation which was an economical answer to an expensive locomotive and passenger cars. Many railroads, large and small, used rail busses on lightly traveled branch lines where service was still required.
Features Compatible with G scale railroad equipment.
Modular electrical connections. Two on-off slide switches. Die cast gear case. This rail bus is made w/the finest detail, old fashioned appearance. Rear oval windows look and feel like an authentic lead design. Painted yellow with a silver roof and detailed w/black writing: U.S. Mail, Railway Post Office, 44. White writing: Denver & Rio Grande Western. Black trimming. Windows are designed and trimmed w/gold and have light yellow colored curtain outlines. Side doors slide opened and closed. Back door is spring loaded and closes automatically when pushed open. Rear entrance platform has old fashioned iron looking fence rails that swing outward. Platform lifts upward to reveal the third step. Cow catcher and rear awning is black. All wheel electrical pick up. Operating headlight. Indoor and outdoor use. Operating smoke unit. Lighted and detailed interior. Rear operating coupler. Loop coupler is also included. Brass painted, plastic bell is included for assembly.
