"Great performance"
edyoung899
I was a bit worried about putting a G80 in this rocket. Flew it many times on E and F(the F32-8TSU 24mm works awesome on this kit) finally put a G80 in there and WHAT A FLIGHT!! Its amazing how high you can see on a clear day .3,oooft up it went. Took forever to return but very cool flight. Keep your eyes on this one with Gpower.

"Barracuda Rocket"

This is the 11th one I have purchased in the AEROTECH mid-power series. I highly recommend these rockets to anyone who flyes rockets. thy one out you will see. Load, fast, fly high, and smooth. easy recovery if flown correctly. I hope to see a Military and space rocket series for this company. they have had the same kits for years.

"Outstanding in all respects"

I found this kit easy to assemble. Make sure you read the instructions though, there is a motor retention upgrade that took some thought to follow correctly. It wasn't hard, just wanted to make sure I did it right the first time so I was careful. I don't have any experience with high power rockets, except for this one. Compared to the smaller rockets I felt it was sturdy and well thought out. I ran G80's, and man does it perform. My crew, was left with their jaws hanging open, gasps, and oh wows all around. It bit the dust on the fourth flight. failed to deploy. Good ejection charge, I saw the smoke, but it didn't separate. forensic examination of what was left showed that the ejection mesh was clogged up. The rubber ejection caps, from the previous launches were caught up in the mesh and it was pretty goobered with carbon. My conclusion... Clean the stainless steel cooling mesh after each flight. I had to learn the hard way. I like everything about this rocket, so I am replacing it with another Barracuda.

"Very enjoyable kit"

The Barracuda kit is a pleasure to assemble. It went together easily, and is very sturdy. The only difficulty I had was getting the fins to properly snap into the fin lock centering rings. Putting an engine into the motor mount made this much easier. I highly recommend this kit if you want a nice mid power rocket that is easy to assemble and fun to fly.
