1/72 Bofors Gun & Tractor

This is a plastic 1/72 scale Bofors 40mm Gun & Tractor replica from Airfix. It's a skill level 2 model for ages 8 and over.

Reliable, efficient and available at the outbreak of war when Britain needed it, the 40mm Bofors gun was without a doubt one of the most outstanding anti-aircraft guns of the period. It was employed by both sides in the Second World War and versions continue to be used today in many parts of the world.

Tan plastic pieces come unassembled and very detailed.
Several figures are included, some in a sitting position, some standing.
Gun arsenal replica is on four wheels and contains a large rifle that points high upwards.
Tractor portion resembles a typical military jeep.
Decals included for authenticity.
Easy-to-follow pictorial instructions.
This gun was adopted by some 18 countries and became the standard light anti aircraft weapon with the British forces.
