This is an HO Scale USRA 2-8-2 Light Undecorated Locomotive and Coal Tender. It's a premium Genesis train from Athearn for ages 8 and over.

Powered 2-8-2 steam locomotive is black with no labeling, designs, or numbers.
Open windows on each side of cabin.
Exhaust stack at the front of the barrel shaped locomotive.
Small gold bell located on the very front end of locomotive in front of the exhaust stack.
Locomotive's front end has two sets of stairs to reach the walkways on each side.
Footboard pilot section included in front.
Low headlight on the very front end of locomotive, underneath the gold bell.
Extra sprue of handrail stanchions provided, due to their extreme delicacy.
Seven stanchions along the side of the boiler and one stanchion at the lower edge of the front of the boiler.
Unassembled marker lights for the front of locomotive.
Unassembled whistle goes on the left side of the steam dome.
Locomotive is designed for easy installation of DCC.
Tender is filled to its brim with chunky coal in its basin.
All black tender is unlabeled like the locomotive.
Unassembled parts for the rear of tender include a ladder, two marker lights, an air hose, and a coupler.
Both locomotive and tender contain very short railway plastic pieces with indentations to fit their wheels for movement.
