Powered 2-8-2 steam locomotive is black with 497 painted gold on each cabin side. Front section of the boiler is painted charcoal gray.
Brass bell mounted to front end of engine boiler, with a headlight protruding below it.
Detailed cabin interior with opened windows.
Locomotive's front end has two sets of stairs to reach the walkways on each side.
Metal wheels.
Sprues includes 14 plastic handrail stanchions.
Two long blackened metal wires used as handrails.
Unassembled marker lights for the front of locomotive.
Unassembled whistle goes on the left side of the steam dome.
Locomotive is designed for easy installation of DCC.
Tender is filled to its brim with chunky coal in its basin.
All black tender has 497 painted gold on the sides.
Unassembled parts for the rear of tender include a ladder, two marker lights, an air hose, and a coupler.
Locomotive has a tail of wires hooked to a small circuit board.
Both locomotive and tender contain very short railway plastic pieces with indentations to fit their wheels for movement.
