Description This N Scale General Electric B23-7 Diesel Locomotive Comes Decoder Ready and Undecorated from Atlas Model Railroad.
Facts The 2250 hp B23-7 locomotive was the replacement for the U23B. Introduced in 1977, it was GE's answer to the GP38-2. The locomotives were delivered riding on FB-2 and AAR Type B trucks, as well as Blomberg trucks from traded in units.
Features This engine is accurately modeled after GE's B23-7.
Distinctive plastic carbody painted light gray. Non-decoder-equipped. Low nose with fat anticlimber. Knuckle battery box and FB-2 trucks. Molded in panel lines for authentic appearance. Wide radiator. Directional lighting. Thin black plastic safety rails border this engine. Blackened metal wheels on dual axled trucks. Dual flywheel equipped 5-pole skewed armature motor with a low friction mechanism. Factory installed AccuMate magnetic knuckle couplers for added value. An additional set of safety rails are included. Small snow plow molded to each end, below the coupler. 90 day limited warranty. Packaged snug within a clear, plastic box which is stackable.
