5 pole skew wound motor allowing scale speeds of 150 mph or more. DCC ready. Toggle switch selects rail or pantograph operation. Die cast gear towers and chassis. Operating directional headlights, ditch lights, and markers. Seperately applied windshield wipers. Tilt technology to allow smooth high-speed cornering. Operating interior lighting. Finescale interiors on all cars. Photo-etched blackened brass inserts on air ducts. Flush windows and scale bumbers. Blackened RP25 wheels.ar w/white lettering "We can handle it." Union 22" radius, 63" x 45" oval of nickel silver E-Z track with gray roadbed. Track has plug-in wiring with easy assembly. Eight pieces of 9" straight E-Z track, including one terminal rerailer. Sixteen pieces of 22" radius curved E-Z track. Dual Acela Express Locomotives with operating directional lights, markers, and ditch lights (powered and non-powered units included). Acela Express First Class Car with tilting chassis and fully-detailed, lighted interior. Acela Express Business Class Car with tilting chassis and fully-detailed, lighted interior. Acela Express Cafe Car with tilting chassis and fully-detailed, lighted interior. Train is silver with dark windows and blue splashes throughout. Protected by Bachmann's lifetime limited warranty. Train set comes embedded within styrofoam and is protected by a soft cardboard top w/a plastic window for viewing. Package slides into a thicker cardboard covering w/a handle for carrying.
