The New York Central steam engine is a DCC-equipped Baldwin 2-8-0 Consolidation with a 28-speed step decoder that's factory-programmed to address button 3 on NMRA-compliant DCC systems. * With the DCC On Board technology, you can control the direction speed, and lighting of this locomotive using the Bachmann E-Z Command Digital Command Control System (not included). * 100% backwards-compatible with standard DC (non-digital) 3 accurately molded heavyweight passenger cars with blackened metal wheels and prototypical paint schemes: - Combine (#305) w/opening luggage door - Coach (#411) - Observation (Detroit) Locomotive and all cars come equipped with Bachmann's exclusive E-Z Mate Knuckle Couplers and blackened metal wheels.
