10' Switch Extension Wire Green

Too bad that when you buy a switch the green wire is usually to short for your layout. At least you can buy these extensions even though a little costly. This worked great even though I only need about 1 foot.

Expensive but worth it. All turnout switches are next to transformer. Made the process easy!

The green controller wire attached to the track is too short to be usable and this extension wire is a necessity, but the connectors are too large to fit into the adapter attached to the track. Comparing the contacts to those on the controller, the ones on the extension wire are clearly much larger. But they do make contact and a little electrical wire can be used to avoid any shorts. Still, for the money, Bachmann should make the contacts more compatible with their own product.
