The Goose was the Rio Grande Southern's solution to lightly patronized passenger runs. Each Goose was basically a bus/truck converted to operation on 3'-gauge track. They were designed to carry mail, LCL freight and passengers and each replaced a complete locomotive-hauled train. Each powered model features a factory-installed DCC decoder, a smooth-running mechanism and fine detailing. Galloping Goose models operate on standard N Scale track.
