Danger- Flammable: Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Do not puncture, incinerate (burn), put into trash compactor or store
above 120 degrees F (49 degrees C).
Keep out of reach of children. Use with adequate ventilation.
Contains petroleum distillates. Do not induce vomiting if swallowed. Call doctor immediately.
Directions: Shake can until ball breaks loose and rattles, then shake vigorously for several minutes and occasionally during use. Use at
room temperature. Point opening of spray button toward the object
holding can approximately 12" from surface. Spray in moderately
fast passes completely across the surface. Repeat, overlapping
each pass about 3/4 into previous pass until entire surface is
coated. To prevent runs and reduce drying time, apply two or more
light coats rather than one heavy coat.
Important: Always test paint on small area first. To assure excellent adhesion, sealer and primer coat must be sanded before
applying Perfect Paint. If second coat is within 18 hours of the
first, no sanding is required.
Color Matching: To ensure a good color match, a white base of Perfect Prime or Perfect White Paint is recommended before topcoat is
applied. Avoid Grey Primers or dark surfaces under topcoat.
New Wood Application: (1)Seal with Perfect Prime, sand with 400 sandpaper. (2)Remove dust with tac cloth. (3)Apply one coat of
clear or colored Perfect Paint. (4)Sand lightly or wet sand with
400 sandpaper. (5)Remove dust with tac cloth. (6)Apply one or more
coats of Perfect Paint.
Fiberglass Application: (1)Wipe down with Perfect Thinner. (2)Sand with 400 sandpaper. (3)Wipe down with tac cloth. (4)Apply one or
more coats of Perfect Paint.
Drying: Perfect Paint should be applied at temperatures above 70 degrees F (21 degrees C). It should not be applied when
humidity is too high. Dope must be dry 72 hours and resins must
be dry 24 hours before Perfect Paint is applied over them. High
humidity and room temperature below 70 degrees F, will slow drying
time. Since Perfect Paint is a temperature cure paint, the
higher the temperature, the faster it will tack and dry.
Masking: For best results, use a good quality plastic tape or masking film. Allow paint to dry completely (48 hours) before masking.
Remove tape 15 minutes after applying trim color.
