German Battleship Admiral Scheer

This was my third model I built since starting again. And what a joy it was to put together, not exactly sure why, I think it was because the detail was just right for me and all the pieces went together very nicely. There weren't too many pieces, but sufficient to make it detailed. I was especially surprised and impressed by the guns that both turned and moved up and down. In addition, the cranes to the side are moveable. Both very nice touches. The model wasn't perfect though, many of the turrets and pieces had little holes in them as if there wasn't enough plastic injected, this is visually unappealing. Also, I broke three of the smaller pieces, as if they were brittle - though, maybe this was just my age or mishandling. Finally, there seems to be a missing piece, I was short 1 anchor winch, or possibly I lost it, but I did not see it listed on the sprue. All in all I found this a very enjoyable build and would easily recommend it and hope they stock the Deutschland and Graf Spee to complete the set.
