There are 4 each 57 scale foot sections in each package for a total of 242 scale feet. The 3 strands of barbed wire at the top of the chain link are intended to be bent at a 30 degree angle making the height of the fence approximately 6.5 scale feet. Although this fence has no gates, I found it easy to use 2 panels from a section to simulate at double gate--see pictures. Additionally, when I used this fence on a radius I needed to remove the barbed wire because you can't bend the barbed wire on a radius. I later attached the barbed wire to some posts for a barbed wire fence. The links are rather large for N scale; however, you can't really tell unless you're right on top of it.
