Description This is a 1/72 Plastic F-20 Tigershark U.S. Air Force Fighter Model Kit from Hasegawa. For ages 10 and up.
Facts The Northrop F-20 Tigershark, originally designated F-5G, was designed to be an international fighter that would be a capable competitor against Russian fighters like the Mig-23 and 27. The F-20 enjoys a 60 percent increase in thrust over its predecessors. Air-to-air and air-to-ground performance has also been improved with the addition of an advanced APG67 fire control system.
Features Plastic pieces attached to sprues and molded in grey.
The surface of the craft is finely detailed with body seams, flap grooves, and hatch seams. Includes a life-like pilot figure. Cockpit is alive with gauges and flight equipment. Ladder for climbing into the cockpit is included and attaches to the plane for use in a ground-based diorama. Full weapons loadout includes a variety of hull mounted bombs and rocketry. Realistic landing gear. Clear canopy allows inspection of cockpit. Detailed pictorial intructions guide you through assembly.
