1/24 Volkswagen Micro Bus

This is a 1/24 Plastic 1963 Volkswagen Type 2 Micro Bus from Hasegawa. It's recommended for modelers ages 10 and up.

In February of 1950, Volkswagen's top executive, Mr. Heinz Nordhoff, announced the release of a very convenient new vehicle to be called the "Type 2." It became the firm's second best-selling vehicle. Loved by their owners, many Type 2's can be seen on the roads of countries throughout the world even today.

Plastic van body molded in beige, with other smaller parts molded in gray and white; clear and chrome pieces also included.
23 windows total, including skinny ones on the sides of the roof.
Box-shaped body mounted on the lower chassis of the famed Volkswagen Beetle.
2-piece front window with a wiper on each side.
Unique front bumper with a rail-like bar across the top.
Three bench-like seats in the interior for ample seating room.
Waterslide decals include a speedometer marking and striping for van.
