Facts Strates Shows Inc., is the only remaining railroad carnival still traveling the United States' Eastern Seaboard today. The Orlando, Florida based carnival dates back to 1923, when James E. Strates began his first show. The carnival company uses a 61 car train that travels more than 6,500 miles and visits 16 different locations.
Features Powered locomotive, similar to a GP-7, with operating headlight.
Realistically molded plastic body shells accurately painted and decorated. The four Strates Shows passenger cars include the following -Observation "The Syracuse" -Diner "The Orlando" -8-1-2 Sleeper "The Landover" -Baggage #21 Molded diaphragms and brakewheels. Separately applied grab rails and side steps. Traction tires and additional couplers supplied. Includes (1) Diesel Locomotive
