Description This is a 1/72 Scale Fort Apache Diorama Set from the American History Series by Imex Model Co.
Facts In 1870 the U.S. Army established a fort to assist the White Mountain Apache tribe in peacefully protecting their lands. At the same time, the surrounding area was designated as a reservation for the tribe. Chiefs Alchise and Diable served as scouts for soldiers from Fort Apache as they pursued the famous Apache renegades Geronimo and Cochise. Fort Apache recalls a turbulent period of both conflict and cooperation between varioius bands of Western Apaches and the United States.
Features This set provides the following
-U.S. Army: 50 Infantry figures, 17 Cavalry figures, 11 horses and riders. -Apaches: 34 figures, 22 horses and riders. -One fort. Extremely realistic pieces. Fort is vacuum formed in white plastic.
