This is a 1/72 scale Spitfire MK VB Plastic Model Kit from Italeri.

The Supermarine Spitfire Vb represented the first major improvement in performance and performance for the Spitfire airframe. The Mk Vb had an uprated Merlin 45 engine of 1600hp compared to the 1100hp of the Mk I/II. The plane also had the first successful installation of twin Hispano 20mm cannons. The Mk Vb Spitfires entered service in March 1941 and were active in the defense of Britain as well as flying over France to attack German positions. More Mk V Spitfires were produced than any other version of this famous aircraft.
