Description This is a 1/72 Spitfire MK9 Aircraft Kit from Italeri.
Facts The Supermarine Spitfire was the British Royal Air Force's premiere fighter during WWII. Early versions, with the Hawker Hurricane, formed the backbone of the defense against the German Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain. The Spitfire Mk.IX was initially designed as a stop-gap measure to counter the Luftwaffe's FW190 which seriously outclassed the Spitfire Mk.V. In the end, the Mk.IX was produced in larger numbers than any other version except the Mk.V and is widely regarded as the definitive Spitfire.
Features 1/72nd scale kit for static display - Skill level 1.
