"Good starter kit"

Solid kit, with plenty of details. This is the first kit I built after a significant hiatus from the hobby. It came together really well with minimum fuss. Instructions are detailed enough, but a few things you kind of have to guess on your own.

Information

The dash-4 version of the famous Corsair was introduced late in WWII and gave a substantial improvement in performance and weapons carrying capacity over the previous versions. The aircraft was also used during the Korean War primarily in the ground attack role, while many aircraft found their way to South American air forces.
