EMD SD45 - Standard DC - Great Northern #412

In 1967, the Great Northern introduced a new corporate structure and adopted a new paint scheme for all of its equipment to commemorate it. Called the Big Sky Blue scheme, it exchanged the more traditional orange and green for a bright blue with white trim. The GN's SD45's were also outfitted with extra identification plates on their railings to more visibly display the company's logo.
