Diesel F40PH - Powered -- Chicago RTA #135 - HO-Scale

America's most recognized modern passenger locomotive, the F40PH is synonymous with the Amtrak era of passenger trains, having been operated by the national service for over 20 years. The locomotive is also used extensively for intercity commuter railroads all over the U.S. Second only to Amtrak's roster, Chicago's Regional Transportation Authority owns the largest number of F40PH locos. These models are sound-friendly with an opening for a 1-1/10" 28mm diameter speaker. Shock absorber construction provides stable running performance.
