PERSEUS Skill 3

TLP kits are a blast to build. Nothing RTF here, just solid craftsman kits based on seldom seen scale missiles. I'd agree with the skill level 3 that this one sports. Chances are if you're in the market for a TLP kit, you've got a few birds under your belt already. That's why I'd call this a great starter. The only skill set that isn't a part of the Perseus is adding a nose cone shroud, which is required in some of the other TLP kits. The fins are cut from basswood and must be built up using several pieces and a piece of dowel. The results are very impressive. No decals, which is the norm for TLP kits, but the package art gives enough color detail that you can figure out which Model Master paints would work best and what size self-stick white letters you should use. Looking forward to flying this one, and can't wait to pick my next TLP kit.
