This is the Latina 1:90 Scale San Francisco II Spanish Galeon S. XVI kit. The most fearsome ships of the Spanish Armada were her galleons, sailing ships that first appeared in the middle of the 16th century and which were, for a hundred and fifty years, the warships par excellence. The San Francisco II was one of the most outstanding of its age. Product Features

This was a very detailed ship and very hard to build, But i loved doing it. It displays beautifully and is very impressive, The only thing I had a hard time with is there was no stand with the kit. I built my own stand from a small piece of plywood. This ship took me almost 4 months to build and i enjoyed every minute of it. Very chalenging. My wife said it kept me out of her hair the whole time and she loved the displayed finished model. I think she was a little surprised i had the patients to do this ship. My first one was the small Bounty.
