Operating headlight.
The locomotive is silver with a black roof.
"Amtrak" is painted in black on each side. The Amtrak insignia stripes wrap around the body.
Locomotive # is "229" painted in black and on each side.
The front and rear trucks are black colored.
Detailed panel lines give an authentic appearance.
Comes with a lifetime limited warranty.
Included are instructions for removing the shell.
This locomotive comes embedded within a styrofoam tray which slides into a windowed cardboard box.

For DC layouts the model is great right out of the box however you will need to install a Decoder for DCC operation. The model comes equipped with Horn Hook Couplers. There is plenty of room inside the shell for a Speaker and sound decoder however only the back truck is powered and only the front has pickups.
