This is an awesome kit of the famous Dinosaur. There are not many parts to the kit, so it is an easy build, the painting is what brings the kit to life. Molded in grey plastic, it assembles quite well. A couple of notes to the build, 1 The parts are big, so have some rubber bands ready to hold the sub assemblies together while they glue. 2 The kit does say in the instructions that putty will be needed for where the parts attach together. So if you do not have putty when you order this kit, be sure to order a tube of that as well. I use Squadron White putty and it formed well around the joints. You will use a bit, because of the size of the kit. 3 When you are assembling the head of the Rex, be sure to paint the inside back of the throat area black or red, other wise you will see grey plastic when you look in the mouth after it is built. 4 If you do not have super glue, I suggest a bottle of Pacer Zap A Gap, it will help fill in some of the joint areas and because the Rex is big, it will make gluing those big parts together much easier. I recommend this kit as a fun build, or it would be good for a young builder or anyone who likes Dinosaurs, or has a school project. Happy Model kit building.
