Catalog Location: Model Rockets - Rocket Kits - Level 2 Explorer

This kit uses a single 29mm composite motor, but can be flown with a ESTES D12-3 using a MMA-1 (not included). Each kit comes complete with nylon elastic shock cord, plastic nose cone, precision machined plywood fins and centering rings, and recovery system. A special PRE-MARKED airframe for fin and launch lug attachment is included to make assembly quick and easy.

The LEGACY is a payload carrying vehicle and stands over four ft. tall. Designed around LOC's BT-1.52 airframe tubing, this minimum diameter model reaches "out-of-sight" altitudes approaching 3000 ft. on a G motor. Parachute recovery.
