- This modern Era V passenger set has what you need to get started in the wonderful world of Marklin Digital systems. Pulled by a German Railroad, Inc. (DB AG) class 218 diesel locomotive with directional headlights, digital decoder and controlled high-efficiency propulsion. It pulls a pair of bi-level second-class commuter cars with realistic tinted windows and close coupling. The train runs on a 73 x 34" 184 x 84cm oval of C Track with one passing siding and one stub-end siding. The set also includes a Marklin Digital Mobile Station for multi-train operation, power pack and an illustrated instruction book with many tips and ideas.
- The locomotive's built-in Marklin Digital decoder allows the acceleration and braking delay to be controlled with the 6021 Control Unit or with Marklin Systems. The set is entirely compatible with the Marklin C Track roadbed-style track system for easy expansion and set up on most surfaces. Turnouts in this set can be equipped with #441-74490 turnout mechanisms (sold separately).
