Packing 2,500 horsepower under the hood, the GP35 was a reliable performer for fast freights and heavy drags. Hundreds hit the high iron in the mid-1960s and through rebuilding and careful maintenance, many are still working from coast to coast. These new models feature a powerful, flywheel-equipped mechanism, realistic painting and printing, plus working headlights and lighted numberboards. Units come equipped with Magne-Matic® knuckle couplers or Marklin® couplers.
