Description This is an N Scale Conrail #3050 Alco C-420 Diesel Locomotive from Model Power.
Facts Alco and its predecessors have been building locomotives since the 1850's. In 1929 Alco entered diesel production, but relying almost exclusively on General Electric equipment. The first Alco Century was built in 1963. All C-420 models are equipped with a 12-cylinder 251 engine, and most C-420's are low-nose versions.

Authentically scaled from railroad blueprints. Medium blue plastic body. Conrail on nose, Conrail, Conrail logo and road number 3050 in white on each side. Realistically molded panel lines, roof vents, ladders and fuel tanks. Separately applied horns and railings. Operating headlight. Black plastic dual axle trucks with silver metal wheels.
