Description This is an N Scale Southern Railroad #2175 Alco C-420 Diesel Locomotive from Model Power.
Facts Alco and its predecessors have been building locomotives since the 1850's. In 1929 Alco entered diesel production, but relying almost exclusively on General Electric equipment. The first Alco Century was built in 1963. All C-420 models are equipped with a 12-cylinder 251 engine, and most C-420's are low-nose versions.
Features Compatible with any N scale model railroad equipment.
Authentically scaled from railroad blueprints. Plastic body is medium green with a white stripe at the bottom. 2175 on nose, Santa Fe logo on each side of nose, Southern and road number 2175 in yellow on each side. Realistically molded panel lines, roof vents, ladders and fuel tanks. Separately applied horns and railings. Operating headlight. Black plastic dual axle trucks with silver metal wheels. Truck-mounted couplers. Packaged in a plastic tray within a clear plastic jewel box. Includes One N Scale Southern Railroad #2175 Alco C-420 Diesel Locomotive.
