Create a realistic variety of wooden bridges and trestles for your HO Scale layout with these easy-to-build wood kits. Skill Level 1 is designed for first-time builders and assembly with basic hobby tools; a few parts need cutting and fitting. Skill Level 2 kits are designed for builders with some experience shaping, cutting or fitting parts and include assembly jigs to simplify some steps. All kits feature micro-cut basswood parts, many of which are pre-cut or shaped. A variety of details are included. Each kit comes with a multi-page, step-by-step instruction manual that includes tips for layout installation and customizing.
Skill Level 2 kit is easily added to HO Scale trestles or used with abutments. Prototypes were frequently installed in the middle of a trestle to cross rivers, creeks or streams. Complete with material for stringers. To speed construction, there's a corner jig for accurately mitred corners, plus a jig to assemble end panels. Music wire is provided for tension rods, along with the correct size drill bit for installation. Plastic nut-bolt-washer castings are included for the finishing touch.
