Ideally would have given this product 3.5 stars, but that is not an option, so 3 it is. These were the only 3/16 dowels I could find, and the price is very reasonable, as always with HobbyLinc. But, not all of the dowels are straight; some of them have a pretty significant curve. I used them to make oars for a model of an ancient warship, so they were cut into relatively short sections, but if you need a straight full-length dowel, you won't be able to use all of the dowels in every package. That being said, most of the dowels were pretty straight, and even the curved ones will likely work for most applications.
