1/16 Cadillac Town Car

This is a 1/16 Scale 1933 Cadillac V-16 Town Car Plastic Model Kit from Minicraft. It's a Skill Level 3 Advanced Difficulty Kit for Ages 12 and Up.

The Cadillac was first produced in 1902, and displayed at the New York Automobile Show in 1903. The name of the car was derived from the French explorer who founded Detroit in 1701, and whose family crest is now the Cadillac trademark. This model is a replica of a 1933 V-16 Town Car originally sold to movie actress Joan Crawford by Hillcrest Motors of Beverly Hills. It is one of only three cars built using this body style.

Plastic pieces attached to sprue trees.
Body pieces are molded in black. The top of the car is embossed to resemble vinyl.
The drivers compartment of the car is open, while the passenger compartment is enclosed. Each side has dual "suicide doors" that
open for the driver and passengers.
Clear pieces included for windshield, windows, headlights and tail lights.
Chrome pieces include bumpers, grille, horns, headlights, body trim, and tail lights.
Doors open to show authentically molded interior.
Opening accordian-style hood reveals an extremely detailed Cadillac V-16 engine.
Wire spoke wheels with wide whitewall treaded rubber tires.
Separate frame and floor pan.
Detailed exhaust and suspension.
Waterslide decals for California license plates are included.
