Nice Car
By: knightstalkr62
This was my first Moebius brand kit. The engine and interior detail are exceptional. I don't normally display my models with the hood open, but hiding the detail of this engine would be an injustice, so I'm making an exception for this one. Unfortunately, several of the decals were sliced into multiple pieces so I could not use them (glove box, cowl label, grille emblem). Additionally, the instructions indicated 1953 grille and hood ornament were included, but those numbers on the sprue were empty so I did not get those parts. I did not care for the instruction sheet. Some of the parts placements were not clear. The parts were grouped on the back page under the appropriate color rather than being listed separately within the instruction sheet. This led to a lot of flipping back and forth to see what color each part was supposed to be painted. Overall I'd give the kit an A-, and the instruction sheet a B-. The detail does drive me to attempt another Moebius though.
NEWBIES - YOU SHOULD START HERE
If you are new to the hobby of building scale model cars and want to get started right, this is the kit for you! It's got everything - from a fine instruction sheet to parts that really work together. There are lots of ways you can make it your special build - add a sunvisor, carpeting or an antenna for the radio, chrome the trim with foil or airbrush with chrome lacquer. And these things are just what you can do if you want your project to go beyond stock. Either way, you'll have one great looking model of a classic car for your display or to show your friends.
another excellent kit

Like the coupe version molding quality is excellent. Engine is very detailed something around 30 parts just on it. Decals look nice. The artwork in manual and on the box is wonderful.
The instructions as with the coupe are kinda weak if pictures arent your think. Inclusing a parts list would help in the future
Perhaps Moebius models will consider other less covered brands: Studebaker, Packard, Rambler, AMC or Edsel as thier Hudsons have been home runs
Very nice kit--recommended.
This was a great pick for the first kit I've built in almost 20 years. Nearly as well engineered and cast as a Tamiya kit, with just enough mold lines and unfortunate sprue connections to force me to relearn old skills. Like other reviewers, I found parts of the instructions a little confusing, and more complete paint color suggestions would be helpful.
Excellent kit.

This is a nice clean kit. Clean sharp lines, little to none on the flash. Although it will need a little work it is by far one of the better castings. The art work is really nice, never seen instructions in color before. Usually do not build according to box art, but this one looks to good in red and black not too. 5 stars.
A good replica of the '52 Hudson
Moebius makes a good product. Parts are well designed and fit easily. If you'd like to, and can successfully complete, try a two-tone paint job as many of these vehicles had in the day. Directions offer some examples--or just go with what you like.

This model was well designed and detailed. The parts fit perfectly with very little trim work. I would recommend this to any one. Gife it a two tone look makes this car stand out above the rest. I chose black and a dark burgandy. Enjoy!
Terrific Kit
Couldn’t ask for a better quality kit. Minimal flash, chrome quality including mould attachments and fit. Moebius may cost a little more but well worth it.
