This kit has all the detail that I wanted. I modified mine with plug wires on the engine along with battery cable ,too. All the parts and body were free of extra flash. Fun kit to assemble

I always wanted to see what a 1957 El Camino would look like so I decided to modify this Nomad to represent one. The kit lends itself to super detailing and modifications since it is relatively simple in construction. The engine compartment leaves room for wiring, plumbing, etc. The hood is scored so you can cut it to make room for a blower or stacks. If you do not remove this section of the hood, be sure to fill the scoring with putty and use a few coats of primer as the cut scores will show through your paint job if it is too thin. I bought several kits to build. I will be doing a stock version and some different custom offerings, too. One of my regular customers has even requested I make on for her!
