1929 Ford Rat Rod (3 in 1)

This was one of my first kits in a long, long time. It's quite detailed and I really enjoyed it. The parts were molded without much flash and it all went together well. The instructions were very easy to follow. My out-of-practice hands had a little trouble with some of the more fiddly bits, particularly the front end. The parts for the steering are very delicate. Be very, very careful removing the chrome parts from the sprue; I cut right through the tie rod despite my caution. I also broke off the end of one of the steering arms during assembly. In the end, I just cemented the front wheel assemblies to the front axle. I won't be able to position them, but at least they're on there. It would be wise to be more careful with those parts than I was. Overall this is a great kit. Lots of different build options means there will be some good bits for your parts box: wheels, engine bits, some chrome, and even part of a cab. The finished model has opening doors and hood, detailed engine, positionable wheels, and plenty of chrome.
