Features At present, the US Army Reserve has two active Railway Operations Battalions whose primary mission is handling ammunition and supplies at bases and port facilities. This set includes lettering for the low-nose Geeps currently assigned to the 1205th Transportation Railway Operating Battalion (United States Army Reserve), with headquarters at Middletown, Connecticut. These eye-catching prototypes, #4601 (nicknamed "Pops" in honor of Walter "Pops" Lavender who passed away on active duty with the unit during Desert Storm) and #4602 are finished in red with yellow UNITED STATES ARMY lettering and "scare stripes." The set also includes a variety of special markings including the small Transportation Corps logos and larger Army Reserve markings that are also used on some engines.
Numberboards and various safety lettering are also included, along with a complete painting and lettering diagram. Related Items
