"Oh, yeah!"

This will be great for my outer space Battle Above the Moon. Great detail of a surface that has been impacted by meteors or explosions.

"Outstanding pieces for a diorama"
LawDawg (Oklahoma)
I am going to use several of these in building out a large diorama. These come 2 to a package and are rectangular in shape, with an actual measurement of 7x12 inches. There is a small border along two of the sides. I am going to cut them up to form some form of rounded bombardment area. The craters on this can represent damage from an 81mm mortar up to a 17cm artillery (or even larger) piece, including 105mm and 15cm guns, being used one after the other or in concert with one another. The very large crater could be cut out and placed on a diorama depicting aerial bombardment from either a level bomber or a Stuka. My photos depict a guide to painting the pieces. These are pretty flimsy, but not fragile. Mounting these to a piece of Plastruct, maybe .030 in size, would probably fix that. Combine this set with some of JTP97460, and you have a good mix of crater sizes. JTP97460 has a more standard mix of crater sizes that could depict 105mm or 15cm artillery damage. The photo of JTP97460 is a photo of this set, just look at the larger crater that is basically in the center. JTP97460 has no large crater. I would recommend this piece for anyone needing craters in their diorama.

Fast way to create realistic craters for any diorama.
