Description This is a 1/72 PT-109 Plastic Model Boat Kit from Revell-Monogram. It's a level 2 model boat for intermediate modelers, ages 10 and up. It was commanded by LTJG John F. Kennedy.
Facts PT-109 is immortalized as the boat commanded by John F. Kennedy. It was powered by three twelve-cylinder Packard engines, and was equipped with four torpedo tubes, machine guns and an anti-aircraft gun. Without ceremony or christening, she was lowered into Newark Bay in July, 1942; two months later her baptism under fire took place in the Guadalcanal war area.
Features Static model contains 83 pieces molded in dark green.
Waterslide decals are included, and the model can be painted as seen on the box with these colors: copper, black, gray, blue, silver, and flesh. Four torpedo tubes, two twin .50 caliber machine guns, a 20mm cannon, a life raft, four crew figures, and three rudders, propellers and shafts are all included.
