The story's hero, Kowalski, has to deliver a new '70 Dodge Challenger R/T from Denver to San Francisco within 24 hours, or else. Kowalski's in for the ride of his life as he sets out to prove he can drive it...in just 15 hours. His journey takes him to the brink of madness and toward its inevitable destination: that point on the horizon where the road lines seem to meet, the unreachable "Vanishing Point".
