Revell really went all out on this kit and it comes with gobs of extra parts and stellar decals. Parts fit, scale fidelity, and overall engineering are top drawer throughout. Perhaps the hardest part of this kit may be deciding which of the many options to use for your build. If you're like me and love classic customs and lead sleds, then you'll want to keep three or four of these babies in your stash! With all of the cool extra parts and decals left over, you can use them on a host of other cars from that golden era. Revell has totally nailed this cool Merc. Lead-Sled to perfection!

This is one of my favorite kits, I've built it twice. I put pics of both builds on my Hobbylinc gallery. Theres a lot of extra parts...wheels, grills, bumpers, etc. Good decals, including a nice set of flames. I had zero problems putting this together. Unfortunately, it seems to be out of production. Hopefully, Revell will produce more of these excellent kits.

This is one of only 2 kits I have built box-stock because what was included was so comprehensive. You can mix and match the parts to create several unique looks and you can get it in-the-weeds without having to modify the suspension yourself. The decal sheet offers almost as much versatility as the build itself. I plan to buy another of these kits in the near future to go really crazy with modifying it. However, until then this one has a prime display spot in my collection built with what it came with.
