All around good kit.
I really liked this kit, I'm not sure if there are different versions of it but my item number on the box matches the one listed here and looks the exact same only mine says its a skill 5 and there is 191 pieces. Dont worry though your car will not be needing all those pieces. Thats just the amount of customization that is possible. Multiple ways to build the engine and even more customizable options for the body. Definitely a kit that you can create a 1 of a kind model especially if you are into getting aftermarket parts. Although I would definitely go with skill 5 over skill 3 just because this is one of the smaller 1:25 scale kits that are out so there is alot of small pieces. I actually found this kit to be rather difficult if your a perfectionist. All the pieces fit how and where they are supposed to so theres no trouble in that department. I recommend anyone to give this kit a try, from the extreme perfectionist to the beginner that wants to know if there ready for the big time. Pros: Extremely customizable, great price for the kit you're receiving, perfect car to use on a trailer if you have a tractor that needs a haul. Cons: smaller pieces.
Fun build!
Home from 4 months on the road (long haul trucker), and wanted to dive in! I decided to do things a bit different from a straight box build - and I hated the colors suggested. I had found a metallic blue from Tamiya (X-13), and I love the color. I used a steering wheel from Detail Master (first time using something like that!). No real complaints about the kit - most of the fit was wonderful, very little flash, and the options are NUMEROUS!! You get two - TWO - complete engines (and 3 different intake systems)! I used one, and the other is still on the sprues and I put the instructions with them. There's 3 sets of wheels. 2 sets of headlights and 2 sets of taillights. 4 different hood options. 2 trunk lids. 2 dashboards. 2 steering wheels. 2 firewalls. 2 radiator options. Build with or without fenders. The options are almost endless!
Great kit to customize
2nd kit I've built recently after about a 15 year hiatus. This kit is nice because it gives you a smorgasbord of parts to throw together to suit individual tastes. I elected to retain the 392 but use the majority of the highboy parts. I also used the 5.0 headers on the hemi and ran them outside of the frame to give it a more aggressive traditional look. The instructions show the hemi heads going on the motor upside down. And the illustration is not clear enough to show the tie rod ends need to attach to the bottom of the knuckles. The one downside to the plethora of parts is the instructions do not list every part on the trees so you will occasionally search fruitlessly to find out where some spares were supposed to go. Regardless, this is an awesome build. Especially if you have any spare pieces laying around to really customize it.
32 ford
I love this kit this kit is a lot of fun to build I love old cars so this is great for my collection this kit has a lot of cool ways you can customize it I want to add another one to my stash as this one looks so good PROS: cheap, fun to build, looks good, highly detailed, features a nice engine CONS: minor flash if you are thinking of picking up this kit then get it, it is a great kit for any old car collector and you will have many ways you can build this if I was going to give it a rating I would give it 10 out of 10 stars I am using this kit for a diorama I have about the first ever car show I went to my mom took a lot of pictures of the cars there so I build cars based on what was at the show and the beginning of my car addiction!
Revel 1932 Ford Roadster
A must have for any model enthusiast. Skill level rated 3 should be a 5. Follow the instructions carefully. Be careful about proper alignment of parts, the placement of a part affects the placement or alignment of another. Example; glue in the radiator and cowl after you glue the body/interior sub-assembly to the chassis, use the hood for proper radiator alignment. I didn't and my hood fits a little tight because the radiator is leaning in. Some parts have very small glue points. Use a quality, fast drying CA glue. A couple times I used tube glue just because of it's fast dry time. Do not get into a hurry with this one, this is a very cool car!
1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe
Overall this is an excellent kit. Parts were crisp and clean and the fit was excellent. The chrome parts were also very well done. The build was done using a combination of parts for both the coupe and the Highboy to make a unique model of the classic 32 Ford. The kit went together without a hitch, though some areas of the build, such as the headlights and headers did require some diligence to keep them properly aligned while the glue set up. In all, a very enjoyable build. This is the second model I've built from this kit, and likely as not, there will be a third, as the model lends itself well for some interesting paint schemes.
Very nice kit with lots of extras.
One of Revell's better kits that comes with lots of extra parts for a variety of building options. Very little flash will be found on the parts and body. Parts are very crisply molded and the fit is excellent. Comes with a very nice decal sheet. The only drawback is the, in my opinion, cheap looking tires. This one gets a high recommendation from Stumpy Grump's Scale Speed Shop!
This is a must-have kit
Seriously, this kit is a must for your stash (and get two while you are at it)! Perfect fit, iconic subject and endless possibilities for modification/personalization. This kit is the beautiful car version of Frankenstein. The fit is perfect, and the selection of extra goodies make this kit great as a first kit or an experiment and learn kit. I highly recommend this kit to all.
Just get two these

I don't know how anyone can find a complaint with this kit. Well detailed parts that go together well, very little,if any flash. The extras are where you really make out. No matter how you build this one you are going to end up with tons of very nice parts for your parts box. Considering the quantity and quality of parts that come in this kit it's a bargain.
well worth the price
Let me start off by saying I love this model! It comes with a ton of parts for such a small car. A lot of those parts are different options of the same part. It comes with 2 complete engines!!! 3 styles of rims and great decals! Not much to complain about. This model is well worth it especially for all the cool extra parts you get.
One of the best kits
This is without a doubt, one of the best kits out there. There are so many options to build it, you may have to build it 5-6 times to use every option. Fenders, no fenders, different engines, interior items, decals, ect... I was not to much of a fan of these cars (30's) but after this kit, I really like them.
32 Ford Street Rod
This kit is pretty good. You get two complete engines and can build either fender or or no fender version. One problem I had though was the front suspension, it was a little difficult.Otherwise everything goes together pretty well.I would recommend this model only to experienced builders.
My favorite ford kit
This is probably my favorite kit I have done, I made it a complete custom with a chopped roof, lowered front end, 440 from the 68 charger r/t kit (another great kit) and drag slicks. This kit came with almost enough parts to build a whole separate car. Cannot recommend this kit enough.
great kit
this is a great kit with lots of different build options, comes with two complete motors. one flat head and one modern 5.0liter like in a mustang. it also comes with three different wheel and two different tire options. it fits together great and the decals set well
Just buy 2, trust me
Clean molding only thing is windshield frame is very thin be carful cutting it off the tree/spruce. No molding flash or twisting, Goes together easy. Has different options for engine, interior, body, tires and wheels. enjoyed building it. you'll want another.
deep in possibilities
Great kit! I own 4. Lends itself well to chopping, Has so many custom parts you can use on a number of other kits. A kitbashers dream come true. Great subjet matter. One of the best kits Revell has ever made. This site doesn't have enough stars to rate this kit.
Perfect.
A perfect kit, everything fit like a glove, many choices with the engine, and exterior and interior, I enjoyed this and I'm going to get another, I have big plans for it but I can't give away my secrets. You will understand when I post it.
Good kit
Had fun building this not a lot of flash if any only problem I had was the the front axle broke snapping a ture on it but contacted revell and there sending me one free of charge but this easy grat kit enjoyed building it
Revell 1932 Ford 5 Window Coupe
I LOVE this Revell model. With just a little a little imagination, aftermarket parts and paint, the sky is the limit. You can produce a product you will be glad to show for years. Revell did it again with this product.
Just wow
One of the best kits I've bought out of the 50+ in my collection. Tons of optional parts that won't go to waste. About the hardest part of building this one was deciding which of the many opyional parts to use.
32 Hi Boy
Great kit!!! This was one of the most enjoyable kits I have built in sometime. Great custom options. Kit went together well with very little issues. I am planning on buying another kit in near future.
Possibility is endless.
Well made kit, no flash or mold lines that i can see. Plenty of options, and some leftover parts could be used in another kit, like the other engine. cant say enough about how much i live this kit
Super versatile model
Buy two models imagining that it would be great to make them in several versions,I plan to buy two more. Super versatile to start other projects. It is perfect in all its parts to assemble.
Fun Build
Fun Build, and yes little challenging with all little parts and directions not totally clear but anybody knows cars and models can figure fit it out, Everything fit nice no issues.
1932 Ford
This was a great build. Don't mean to upset any of the purists out there but I enjoyed Frankensteining the 2 options together.finished in a candy black cherry. Gorgeous!
Plastic model kit
I really like this kit, two engine choices, two sets of wheels, parts fit together easily.it builds into a great looking model
Very Nostalgic
I started building this model and became obsessed with it. The choices were great and the design was flawless. Lots of fun.
Fun to build
I must have bought a newer version. I had 3 motor options. Flathead, Ford V8 and Hemi. I plan on building 2 or 3 versions.
Deuce coupe
Loved it,everything fit together the way it should. This kit was a pleasure to build. I will send photos soon.
Great kit
First model kit I ever built. Great overall kit, a little challenging for a first timer, but not to hard.
'32 Ford 5 window
I built this kit using both the highboy and coupe options, more like the way I would have built mine.
32 coupe
This looks to be a fun one to build. Not sure yet but this could be a really cool rat build
