Description This is a 1/48 DLX P-40B Tiger Shark Plastic Airplane Kit from Revell-Monogram. It's a skill level 2 model, recommended for ages 10 and up.
Facts The P-40B was the first production version of the P-40 series. It began in an attempt to improve the performance of the earlier radial engined P-36 Hawk. Powered by a 1150 hp Allison V-12 engine, the P-40 was the main fighter of Claire Chennault's American Volunteer Group, the "Flying Tigers", who fought against Japanese forces in China before the US entered WWII.
