These medium duty blades are part of the new (to me) line of Revell Monogram hobby tools. They are made in China, but they arrived with a light oil coating and are rust-free, with well honed cutting edges. The main difference between these blades and a standard #11 is that they have a more substantial tip - the non-cutting surface above the tip gives more support even than the X-acto #11m which has long been my preferred blade.
These blades will be perfect for cutting away resin pouring blocks, scoring thicker plastic sheets, and most of the standard cutting and scraping chores that do not require a fine tip. Due to their sturdiness the tip should last as long as the sharpness of the cutting edge rather than snapping off while the cutting edge still has many hours of usefulness.
This is a new and useful tool for hobbyists.
