I purchased for my son who is beginning the hobby. I figured for less than $10, what could it hurt? The model is molded well, very little flash with good details and recessed panel lines. Rivet details are good as well. The kit goes together fast, and you can go with or without puttying and sanding. My son built in one day. Using the putty and sanding will make a prettier model, but if the intent is to get a youngster started on a glue kit, it does not matter. It is an enjoyable kit, and would recommend to anyone 10-11 or older that wants to get into the hobby. Great kit.

This is a good P-47M. Pros: 1- Cheap price. 2- overall it's well molded, although in some parts need sanding. 3- Fine details in the outside. 4- it comes with individual rockets and a couple of fuel tanks. 5- Decals of very good quality. Cons: 1- Plenty of burrs and fish skins (as i said about sanding). 2- The cone of the propellers, is attached to the fuselage in a fragile way, making it very sensitive and can not be re-glued properly at break. Overall is a good kit, easy to assemble. The appearance, after finishing this model, is very satisfactory.

The wings to the fuselage were very bad. I had to do extensive cutting, sanding, and reshaping the wings so they would seal snug. TERRIBLE...I didn't enjoy assembling this model because it was very frustrating. The model itself has good body panel lines but other than that no good. I wish I had known about these problems before purchase. It is impossible to have good builds with all models.

This is a good plane for all the parts fit well but some sanding is needed. The inst and paint guide are good the decals are easy to place they come for two planes as dose the paint guide. The canopy and the landing gear can be showen up or down. The cockpit has some detale but no pilot. And easy plane for all.

Typical Revell kit. Lots of flash and a few minor fit problems, but I am not a professional show quality modeler! I build these for a hobby to sit on a shelf. Can't beat the price! A great kit for a great price!

This is a unique variant of the P-47M, this squadron shown on box art was given leeway for paint schemes, within their group for the time period of the war. Research will show this model is a gem for any collection

Good product. Many details and good quality. Looks easy to build.
