This is a 1/72 Scale P-51 B Mustang III Plastic Model Kit by Revell. Skill Level 3 (Moderate Difficulty) for Ages 10 and Up.

From early 1944, the RAF and the USAAF operated hundreds of Merlin-engined Mustang III's on bombing missions, anti V1 flying bomb patrols over southeast England and daylight escort duties until the end of World War II. All of these aircraft were fitted with the distinctive "Malcom" cockpit hood, which gave the pilot much improved rearward vision.
