Description Prototype Information: Fokker D. VII The Fokker D.VII was the best German fighter aircraft of WWI - in fact, it was so good that the Allies demanded that all remaining D.VII's be destroyed after the Armistice was signed. The aircraft was fast, maneuverable, and had a number of unique and advanced design features. Most notable of these was the lack of wire bracing between the upper and lower wings which dramatically reduced the drag on the airframe.
