One remaining model rocket that I have is the semi-scale model of a U.S. Navy Standard Missile seen in many photos of ships that still carry these older but reliable missiles. I built the model rocket using the BT-55 tube as a basis for the missile as no other body tube looked correct for the ratio of fin design and placement on a body tube. By building the rocket I accomplished two important features of model rocketry, the first, preserving the interest in the safe building of a flying model rocket and secondly preserving a little piece of history. I would recommend these products to anyone with experience in basic building of custom designed model rockets.
