Although the putty isn't white, but gray, it is still of good consistency enabling it easily applicable and shapeable for filling seams, dents, and gaps, and dries to sanding or painting in about about 2 hours.
The putty seems a bit runny and must be applied carefully. It seems that more than one application must be used to fill in a gap or smooth out a flaw. If you are thinking of using it for super detailing, I wouldn't recommend it. It doesn't seem thick enough to stay in one place.

I use it a lot. I do a lot of custom work on most of my models. I also fill in any sink holes and imperfections.
